Drug addiction, and its symptoms?




The World Health Organization (WHO) has given a definition of drugs. According to this definition, drugs are substances which, when ingested by living organisms, change one or more of their normal behaviors.


We call drugs in common language. Due to the continuous consumption of drugs, when such a situation arises that people develop a kind of physical and mental relationship with drugs and if they do not take drugs regularly, they suffer from physical and mental problems, then it is called drug addiction or drug dependence. are bidis, cigarettes, opium and opium derivatives, heroin, Alcohol, pethidine, barbiturates, cocaine, cannabis, hashish, marijuana, LSD etc. Among them, heroin is a deadly drug.


A person's addiction to drugs can arise in many ways, such as; Curiosity, companionship, attempts to relieve depression, ways to forget emotional pain, self-efficacy, desire for relief from family turmoil, or family routines. If the father or mother is addicted to any drug, the child has the highest risk of becoming addicted to that drug.


Drug addiction completely destroys one's life.
